The AGS Programme designed the Business Skills Development objective to offer skills training to 225 MSMEs. Each MSME selected must attend at least two training opportunities based on the ILO Start, Improve and Expand Your Business methodology. To date slightly over 225 MSMEs have since been trained in either Start Your Business or Improve Your Business. The Consultant is required to coordinate the planning, delivery and monitoring of second training which will also include Expand Your Business for those that attended Improve Your Business training in the first half of 2021. Included in this task is the identification and allocation of appropriate trainers to conduct the said training.
The overall objective of the assignment is to support the implementation of Key Activity 2 Supporting the delivery of Business Development training programmes for registered MSMEs with the outcome being the improvement of technical and business management skills for Zambian registered MSMEs.
